YouTube does not display a video's tags on the watch page, which makes them hard to study by hand. This tool reads them for you, so you can see how creators in your niche describe their videos, which phrases and misspellings they cover, and how many tags they use.

It also counts the characters. YouTube limits the tag field to 500 characters in total, so the tool shows how much of that limit a set of tags uses and warns you when it is close or over. That is useful when you adapt a tag list for your own video and need to know what fits.

It works with standard watch links, youtu.be short links and YouTube Shorts links. It only reads what is already public, and many videos simply have no tags at all.
